Ryan Moore couldn’t make a putt last week. The guy missed at least seven five footers and he even missed a two foot putt. It hurt us most in the check book too as many people had Henrik Stenson and Webb Simpson. We got shuffled back to 10th place this week with only four more to go. We need a win really bad now.

PLAYERS USED SO FAR: Ryan Moore, Jason Day, Branden Grace, Tony Finau, Jordan Spieth, Danny Lee, David Lingmerth, Ollie Schniederjans, Justin Thomas, Louis Oosthuizen, Phil Mickelson, Byeong Hun An, Wes Bryan, Brooks Koepka, Martin Kaymer, Bill Haas, Kevin Chappell, Kevin Kisner, Rory Mcilory, Rickie Fowler, Matt Kuchar, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson, Brandt Snedeker, Hideki Matsuyama, Patton Kizzire, Chris Kirk, Jon Rahm.

Now for our pick.

Paul Casey

Many people don’t think he can win but we believe anyone can win at anytime. Casey has been knocking on the door all year against the best competition too. It’s only a matter of time. One week he’ll have the putter work for all four days. If this course plays like Augusta, as we hear comparisons, then we’re all over Casey as the best player left we can take. His Masters record is superb and if he wins any major, that will be his one. He can freely hit his driver and hitting the greens is supposedly quadrant based like Augusta. You must hit the right ones to get proper looks for birdies etc. Also, this is Poa Annua greens, which actually helps him. Why? Even the best putters have trouble on them, which means even if he still misses, others will too. His Poa putting is actually pretty darn good relative to his other greens. So he’s on the squad and we hope that very few have him. SIDE NOTE: If we could still take Jason Day we would but we used home two weeks ago. He’s going to win a Fed Ex Cup event.
