Daily Fantasy Golf Picks Strategy | PGA Travelers Championship 2018 | DRAFTKINGS

I wish there was a rest going into the Travelers. Don’t you just want a week off to enjoy the perfect weather before the humidity of the summer takes over? But I guess no one will hear my cries, as I sit inside on a nice day to watch golf, instead of getting some exercise. Maybe that’s why I’m 200 pounds again? Now onto the shitty cut and paste preview.

So what’s this course all about? This course is a 6900 Yard, Par 70. That’s not long folks. Not long at all. When taking a look at previous years, you really can see that you don’t have to be a long hitter to do well here. The little guys are everywhere. The key here is to get as many birdies opportunities as possible. Hitting the greens in two is what the week’s all about. So we’ll be looking at Par 4 scoring average, and strokes gained tee to green. You can be a so-so putter and do well here, but that’s if you’re giving yourself plenty of birdie opportunities. The 10 to 15 footers will be big this week. But for the most part, if you keep it in the fairway, hit the greens in two  and drop 4 putts a round, you should be in contention. Sounds easy. It is, but sometimes these golfers are assholes and decide to play like absolute shit.

Now for the breakdown.

THE CORE

Paul Casey 100% – He’s consistent at this tournament and we know he’ll be hitting tons of greens. He’s top 15 in SGTG and he just needs to sink his putts.

Zach Johnson 100% – He’s currently top 30 in SGTG and he’s playing solid golf right now. A very encouraging finish at the US Open at a difficult course gives us hope for a biggie this week. We went full Zach here.

Emiliano Grillo 75% – He didn’t have the best US Open but many people had a tough time. We think he gets back on the horse this week and his style fits perfectly. He’ll hit the greens, now he just needs to make the putts.

WAVE 2

Adam Hadwin 50% – A cut maker with big upside. He’s cheap for how well he’s played all year and he’s a pretty solid tee to green player. Zach Johsnon light.

Chesson Hadley 50% – He was super cheap for a guy that’s been on his game for the whole year. He’s coming into his own this year and we think this is a good spot for a high finish. SGTG he’s a solid and his approach game is tip top. Like others, the putts need to drop.

Patrick Cantlay 50% – He’s a bargain at $8400 and he’s on the squad. He’ll have so many opportunities this week, even he has to make some.

Webb Simpson 50% – His approach game is on point and after all was said and done, he put in a very nice effort at the US Open. With how he’s playing this year, he’s a legit threat this week.

Keegan Bradley 50% – He just needs to sink his putts. That’s it. He’ll hit these greens. We pray that he has an average field week with the putter. If so, he’s a real dark horse.
