We have one of the weakest fields you’ll see all season outside of the fall season and events like the Puerto Rico Open. But yes, Tiger is here and it’s a great shot for him to win as well as boost those ratings. Lets get to the course.

The TPC Potomac is a 7,107 yard, par 70 and is a true test of golf that one day might be used as a U.S. Open course. You must hit the fairways this week or you’ll have a very difficult time making a par. Last year, the winning score was -7 which means you’ll have pretty tough time scoring. Most players will take out driver around 5-6 times on this course, so we’re looking for solid course managers and SGTG players.

If you’re going to hit the rough, your next shot better be a wedge as that may be your only chance to hit the greens from there. Usually we always love putters, but this week, we won’t put an emphasis on getting solid flat stickers on your team. We’ll stick with SGTG and form.

Now for the breakdown.

THE CORE

Adam Hadwin 100% – His price was stupid cheap and he just makes cuts. This is a weak field and we expect some bounce back here. The best bang for your buck and he’ll be popular.

Byeong Hun An 75% – This type of course should suit his tee to green game. He’s pretty accurate for his length too and his price is just dandy.

Francesco Molinari 75% – Playing tip top golf everywhere he’s going. This may be the best run of his career so far and this course suits his game in our opinion. A great spot for his first win on this side of the pond.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat 75% – Playing terrific golf world wide and should be respected big time here with such a weak field. His price is nice.

Brian Gay 75% – For Brian Gay, he’s on a little hot streak here that hopefully gives him one last pop with a top 10 this week. A 20th at the US Open looks impressive coming into a much weaker field. The course suits this course mangers game.

Ryan Blaum 75% – He’s was on our radar all of last year for short courses and manager type courses based on his web.com play, but things didn’t pan out. But now he’s a 3-4 week mini run here and at a course that should suit his game. We hope he can keep it going for one more week.

Ben Crane 50% – He’s just really cheap, playing pretty decent, and his course management style fits what we’re looking for. That simple.
