Daily Fantasy Golf Picks Strategy | PGA Championship 2017 | Draftkings

You’re a day away from the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow and I think anyone can win this major. For some reason, I believe whatever changes won’t be enough, and that it will play like its regular self, minus the one par 5. Throw in the soft wet conditions and you have a recipe for some guys to go low. The three par 5’s are all birdie hole with eagle possibilities and then you have a couple of reachable Par 4’s for the long guys. Whoever is on top of their driving game and 200 yards plus iron game might make a joke of this course.

So besides length, strokes gained off the tee, and approaches. We’ll be looking for some scrambling ability, as most will be playing from the rough this week. We don’t think the rough will be that troublesome, just like it normally plays, so we like some player histories too. Throw on some form, and that’s what we’re going with. Obviously you need to putt well to win, but we can see a bad putter winning here, just like history says can happen.

NOTES: We think everyone will be on Pieters, Hoffman, Berger and Finau. So besides taking one Finau, we avoided those other 3 and did our best to find lower owned guys with the same chances.

THE CORE

Brooks Koepka 100% – He’s long. He’s already won a major this year and he continues to play well. If he wins this week, he’ll be cemented as one of the best currently in the game. He’s never played here but he has the skill set necessary here.

Phil Mickelson 75% – He may not be Top 10’ing that often this year, but he’s been making cuts. He also loves this course with nine Top 10’s in 13 tries. We’ll be cheering hard for him.

Kevin Chappell 75% – After his atrocious start to the year, he’s been on point and even picked up his first win. He’s made 5 of 6 cuts at this course with an 11th and 16th in two of his last three. He’s never been better and we can see him contending this week. Playing solid golf and has the right  stats for this place.

Ryan Fox 75% – Our darkhorse. He’s been on a great run in Europe and he is currently first in driving distance there. he missed the cut at the British Open and we hope no one will take him now. however, he was on a run of 4th, 4th and 6th in his previous 3 tourneys. So we’re on him due to his length, price, and form.

Jon Rahm 50% – He’s ranked number 1 in strokes gained off the tee currently. He packs a wallop and he can win at anytime. There’s no rhyme or reason when he does. He’s just good and when he’s on you better look out. Loved his price.

Rickie Fowler 50% – Is anyone more due for a major win than Rickie? He hits everything we are looking for and……he’s won at Quail Hollow before. Enough said.

Jamie Lovemark 50% – His sats are really coming around and his Off the tee game lately has been superb. He only has 1 cut made of 3 over this course. However he made his last one, right when he was getting his game in gear. He’s playing much better than early on in the year and we like him as a dark horse.
