Daily Fantasy Golf Picks Strategy | PGA Championship 2018 | Draftkings

WE’VE UPDATED OUR PICKS BECAUSE WE THINK ITS GOING TO BE A BIRDIE FEST BASED ON WHAT GOLFERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE COURSE

We’re going to be going with some straight shooters this week and we’ll explain this down below in our preview cut and paste. We just hope that we no one has the same entries as we have in the millionaire maker. That’s just the bane of our existence when that happens.

The Bellerive Golf Course is a Par 70, 7316 yard test of golf, whereas in 2008, this course played as a 6959 yard, Par 71, and in 1992, as a 7148 yard, Par 71. So yes, there are length differences but we still expect the course to play the same. It’s a treelined course that puts a premium on finding the fairway. According to Justin Thomas, you need to hit your spots on the fairway because even though the greens are large, you need to be in the right spots. The reason for that is because the greens have many different complexes and if you have 50 foot putts,,three putts will be the norm. Also, you don’t want to be in these green side bunkers because they’re big and deep. The balls may go in and roll back, giving you longer than normal bunker shots which will then be a tricky par for most players.

So putting yourself in the best position off the tee is the route all the golfers will be focusing on this week and so will we. Strokes Gained Off The Tee will be our first focus, followed by Ball Striking and Strokes Gained Tee To Green, and we’ll also be looking at sand saves because saving par from the sand will be key this week. As always, we love form, and putting always comes in handy too.

Now for the breakdown.

PLEASE DISREGARD EVERYTHING BELOW.

Louis Oosthuizen 100% – He had a poor final round at the Bridgestone but he was around this week and if you look at his record this year, he’s been very consistent without a top three finish. He’s as solid as they come off the tee and we hope his irons are dialed in this week. If so, he’s a threat. We think he’s due for a top finis and we know he’s a big tourney kinda guy.

Tommy Fleetwood 75% – He’s solid off the tee and a tip top world class player. His price was more than fair so he’s on our squads. Very consistent guy.

Justin Thomas 75% – After his win this week, he’s on the squads. His price is too cheap and he can easily go back to back here.

Kyle Stanley 75% – We may reconsider the % on him because he’ll be super popular after his 2nd place finish this past week. He’s the type of player we’re looking for this week with his solid SG Off The Tee and SGTG game. Super cheap.

Zach Johnson 75% – His accuracy off the tee hasn’t been it’s usual self but we still think he’s been awfully consistent without that extra accuracy. He doesn’t have any big finishes though and we think he’s just due for a big one. He’s a fantastic long iron player with a solid approach game from all distances too. A crafty veteran at a great price.

Henrik Stenson 50% – He’s always played well at PGA Championships and we know he’ll hit the fairways here with his precision three wood game. He’s also one of the best long iron players on tour too. We hope no one takes him this week.
